The client
Oliver Marketing is one of the UK’s leading independent marketing services company and have clients that include major brands such as Axa Insurance, Britvic, Hetz and the BBC. They provide a wide range of point of sale material for display in shops and supermarkets across Europe.
The problem
Oliver Marketing provide a wide range of point sales marketing merchandising materials for major household brands. This means they have hundreds of enquiries from retail outlets each day to purchase the merchandising.
As this is provided on a near cost basis there were no funds available to hire extra staff to field the calls. The calls were also eating too much in to the time of the existing staff, as clients wanted to run through a number of variations on what to purchase.
Oliver Marketing wanted to produce an Excel based tool that could be given away to clients whilst keeping certain aspects of their pricing calculations hidden from public view.
The solution
We developed a quotation tool that Oliver Marketing distributed to its clients for free. This would allow their clients to get an automatic quote for their marketing materials simply by filling in quantities.

The result
The quotation tool is still in daily use and we make frequent updates as new products become available. The amount of time needed by Oliver Marketing’s staff on the phone has greatly reduced.
