With numerous funders providing leasing deals on thousands of different cars, CarLeasing-Online.co.uk needed a way to automatically pick out the best deals for it’s website.
The Client
Car Leasing Online is a new online car leasing service established as a division of Mercury Vehicle Solutions. Trading online, they serve both the public and the business sectors.
The Problem
After deciding to get a new website designed, CarLeasingOnline.co.uk suddenly realised that the upkeep of the back-office was going to be a seemingly impossible task. They needed to process over 5000 products, sourced from over 6 or 7 suppliers, who all have moving prices month to month.
As a result they needed a quick and easy way to collate and feed all this data in to their various systems.
The Solution
We worked closely with CarLeasingOnline.co.uk to produce a tool that could automatically import all of their suppliers price lists, working out which supplier had the best prices for each car model, before exporting the results to their back office system.

We used windows style forms to help eliminate / reduce human errors
A lot of time was spent on reducing the risk of human errors creeping in to the data by using Windows forms combined with validation rules.
